Artin Driving School’s Full Course is an Access Nova Scotia-approved 35-hour driver education program for new drivers in Halifax and surrounding HRM communities. It combines online theory with professional in-car instruction to build practical driving skills, road-safety knowledge, and confidence behind the wheel.
The program includes 25 hours of online theory and 10 hours of in-car driving lessons. The theory portion covers road rules, safe-driving decisions, and hazard awareness. In-car instruction provides supervised practice, and pickup and drop-off is available from home or work within Artin Driving School’s service area.
Completing the course may allow learner licence holders to take the Nova Scotia road test three months sooner and meets the requirements to exit the Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program. Graduates may also qualify for a car insurance discount; eligibility and discount amounts depend on the insurer.
Silver and Gold include the same Full Driver Education Course. Silver costs $649.99 + HST and does not include a road test vehicle. Gold costs $699.99 + HST and includes use of an Artin Driving School vehicle for the student’s road test, subject to instructor arrangement, scheduling, and availability.
It is an Access Nova Scotia-approved 35-hour course with 25 hours of online theory and 10 hours of in-car training.
The Full Driver Education Course is available for $649.99 + HST without a road test vehicle, or $699.99 + HST with use of an Artin Driving School vehicle for the student’s road test. Vehicle use must be arranged with the student’s instructor and is subject to scheduling and availability.
